Reed’s journey with Pilates started over a decade ago in Chicago. After seeing how much it changed her posture and core strength, she devoted herself to a regular practice. Now, years later, Reed is a strong proponent of practicing Pilates as not only a way to care for your body, but an excellent way to tend to your emotional and mental well-being. She has experienced firsthand the benefits that Pilates has on anxiety and depression, and she’s ready to support others as they move toward both mind and body healing through a movement practice. Reed is comprehensively certified in Pilates and holds a degree in Broadcast Journalism from Columbia College Chicago. Reed, a Michigan native, recently relocated from Nashville and is excited to rediscover Detroit and the surrounding areas. Reed enjoys trying out different Thai restaurants, going to concerts and watching movies with her senior Pug, Franklin.
