She will briefly introduce you to Core Compassion Project® and then jump into a mat class inspired by the Jill Hinson Method! Our expert instructors certified in the Jill Hinson Method for Breast Cancer (JHMBC) are trained in the muscular, anatomical, functional, physical and emotional challenges faced by Breast Cancer patients and survivors. This highly specialized, medically approved approach is a crucial component of comprehensive breast cancer treatment and recovery.Reforming Foundations is proud to be part of the Core Compassion family as the only Michigan studio affiliate and to provide this important, effective and meaningful service to our community.
The Core Compassion Project
Core Compassion Project® is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide breast cancer patients and/or survivors avenues to strengthen the body, mind, and spirit through rehabilitative Pilates at no cost. We seek to help provide support, strength, and mobility to our recipients in a setting that offers a time to heal mentally, physically, and spiritually. Core Compassion Project® provides Pilates Scholarships, specialized fitness bras, and lymphedema sleeves, for breast cancer patients and survivors.
