Why the elephant?

Our brand mascot, Eddie the Elephant, is very special to us as he encompasses RF’s core values—Compassion, Education, Community, and Ethical Excellence.  Elephants are known for their community, they travel and stick together; another mother will raise another's calf; when in trouble the herd will circle together to protect the weaker inside the circle. They care for each other. Eddie shows strength and balance as he reaches for the leaves of the tree for nourishment. He does this so gracefully on one leg demonstrating his strength and agility. Pilates helps each of us heal, get stronger and grow—physically, mentally and soulfully. Eddie is just a little reminder that we too can take care of our community, heal, and be graceful and strong each and every day.
